I had to go back to finish school for 4 weeks and it was the last time I will teach for a very long time! I can't believe I don't have a job anymore! Teaching at Orem High School has been such an amazing blessing. Being able to truely make a difference in these kids lives is so rewarding. This kid Wyatt just loved Jay. I brought him to school a few times because it was just too hard to let him go. My sweet sister-n-law watched Jay for me and I am so grateful for her. However it showed me there would be no way I could do that long term. My first calling is to teach this sweet boy the gospel and then to get dinner on the table by 5pm. Well, I will sure try :) So now I am a stay at home mom who needs to learn how to knit, sew, cook, clean, scrapbook, go on walks at 5 am, go to all enrichment activities, and always have my hair and make-up done. Wow, I have a lot to work on. Any tips, for this crazy transition, please let me know.

first piece of advice...don't try to do all those things :) You'll just become a crazy mom who compares herself to everyone. I have my hair done a lot less now than I used to. Just focus on little Jay and have as much fun with him as possible. they grow so flippin fast!
Being a teacher is a nice job (one of the best in the world), but it's much more awesome that you get to stay home with Jay! When Zach was born I thought I wouldn't mind working but full-time is way too much and I miss him too much and now things need to change. So, no regrets!
If you're a type-A personality, you'll have time to do all the things you mentioned! But I recommend just letting some things go, enjoy the Relief Society classes, and Jay. There's never going to be a time he doesn't need his mommy!
PLEASE TELL ME YOUR KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!! I Think I would kill myself. I take it one day at a time. Mostly without makeup and a nice gym pass with babysitting. love you.
and I mean you're, not your. I hate those mistakes!
