She made it! Early Christmas Eve morning, I started having contractions 5 -10 min apart and I knew she was coming that day! I really didn't want her to be born on Christmas Day, and ...YAY she wasn't! I was so worried I wouldn't have the strength to go through labor again unmedicated, but because of my amazing husband and the help of my wonderful sister Kari, I was able to do it again! It was harder than I remember though! Of coarse she had to poop tons while she was in me and swallow it, so she did have to be whisked away when she was born to clean out her lungs. But other than that, she was born with no cord around her neck, no knot in her cord, no cysts, lumps, or anything! She is healthy! And even better, she has normal sized fingers and toes which is a good sign that she won't have Marfans like Matt and Jay. We feel so blessed that she is healthy! She is such a doll! Here are a few pics I was able to take during her photoshoot. I didn't really shoot much because quite frankly, I'm tired. So I had my sweet sister Kari (www.karihenneferphotography.blogspot.com) and frind photographer Lisa (www.sugarbeanphotography.blogspot.com) take her photos. Yay!!!! She is so adorable! Congratulations on doing in without meds. It's a good thing it is forgettable...because I don't think anyone would do it a second time had they remembered! Get some rest!
