So I have been debating on whether I should write this, but this is what we are feeling and currently going through. It is sad that we are affected so much by this crazy housing market! I have been struggling lately being the wife of an incredible builder. We built an investment home starting last March and have slowly been working on it for the last year. Now that it is done and the bank is demanding we pay up, we are so stuck! Our problem is Matt can't build junky houses like most every other builder do. He uses the best materials and does such an amazing quality job. The downside to this is it is more expensive. So other builders build pieces of crap the same size as our house and it is so much less. We are now stuck with a beautiful 2nd home that there is no way we can afford. Every hour it changes if we are going to move into it or not. We can't afford 2 house payments so we have both our houses up for sale and are waiting for one to sell. This is where it gets tuff being a builders wife. The uncertainty of not knowing where you will be next week is so hard for this small town girl who grew up the the same house my entire childhood! However, this is a great opportunity for us to strengthen our family as well as our trust in the Lord. We know so many people are struggling out there and we feel blessed we are a part of it so we can learn and grow. So, if anyone is looking for an amazing 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom home in Cedar Hills, we can help!! If you are looking to build a home, Matt would do an outstanding job for you. I love to brag about how good he is, because I am just so proud! Here are a few pictures of this house and his incredible work! There are also many more pictures on his website at www.msnconstruction.org :)

oh man. we hear ya! only 9 of the 14 homes on our street are ocupied! and 4 are in forclosure right now! All you can do is pray and hold on!
If it were in Salt Lake, we would be all over buying this gem. Seriously, this house is beautiful. The market makes me think twice about buying when we get back. It's just not worth it right now. Hope you're doing well! We miss you guys!
Mandi, I am so sorry that your family is going through this! I will keep you in my prayers and keep my ears open for any potential buyers...
Love, Rachel
I wish we were moving to Utah! I would totally buy it! I'd rather spend 800,000 on that than the crappy ones we're looking at in the bay area! He did an amazing job! In ten years when we want to build a house, we'll hire him. That means you guys have to come live with us for a year :-)
I am sorry you guys have to go through this! But you guys are doing all that you can, and it will work out I know it! Something will come up. That house is beautiful, Matt is so talented, and it is so true that he puts so much into his houses. Someday I will own a Nuttall home:D Because I know that they will last more than a lifetime! (I know your family but it's true!) Quality is hard to find nowadays. I know with our house now we keep asking what was our builder thinkin? Their are so many things that the cookie cutter builders leave out. Anyways, we love you guys and you are in our prayers! It will work out! :D
The house is beautiful! I added some things to my wish list including that front entry! I wish there was something we could do. We'll keep you in our prayers and if you do need anything, let us know.
Hang in there Mandi! We were there one time and it was hard, but there is an end, thank goodness. We will definetly keep you in our prayers.
Oh sis,
That is so hard to not know what's going to happen. Heavenly Father knows and is guiding every step of the way, though. He knows all these feelings and worries. Remember, as you just give yourself to him, fear disappears and you know whatever happens is how he has planned it. Trust that Mandi. You guys are living right. You will be blessed. I love you, and we will continue to pray for you 3!
Mandi, I think I’m going to call you right now. You better be home. Oh, and this house is beyond beautiful. Matt is our “dream builder” since building a home is so beyond reality for us right now. But when dreams become real and faith precedes the miracle, anything is possible.
