I'm officially a mom with a 1 year old! I had a little bit of a breakdown as I realized I needed to start practicing being the mom who throws stellar birthday parties, and the mom that puts little notes and cool things in my kids lunches on holidays. Here we go! We let Jay have his own cake and he didn't even smile. He was so concentrated on getting the cake in his mouth before we took it away. He loved it!!! We had a fun little party with the Nuttalls and Jay only fell off the couch once. Not bad! HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY JAY!

Ah so fun! When Gordon turned one we had that exact cake and those froggie jams! So adorable! And our little Ella turns one today! Life goes too quickly!
